About Our Program
We want to reach families with the love of Christ by providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children. Our goal through this ministry is to provide an atmosphere that will help children grow as Jesus grew...Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man." Our staff consists of committed Christians who have the development of children as their priority. All of our classes use a Biblically based curriculum with a weekly theme accompanied by a Bible verse.
Parent's Day Out classes are for children ages 4 months to 2 years old. The weekly theme is incorporated into the daily activities. Children are given many age appropriate opportunities for play and exploring the world around them including a variety of arts and crafts, sand and water, role playing, music, learning centers, and outdoor recreation. Classes will include a short prayer before snack and lunch. Snacks and lunch to be provided by the parents.
Preschool classes are designed to provide a Christ-centered education while teaching them the skills they need for Kindergarten. The three year old preschool class focuses on socialization as well as working with shapes, colors, music, art, fine and gross motor development and beginning exposure to letter and number recognition. The four and five year old preschool includes a program of social interaction, fine and gross motor skills, science, music and art integrated with letter and number recognition and beginning letter sounds. Field trips will be planned throughout the year for both classes. Each class will include a devotion time based on the weekly theme.
The curriculum used in the classrooms in an official resource of LifeWay Christian Resources, however it teaches basic principles for Christian living rather than a specific doctrine.
Classes began August 14, 2007 and follow the Brownsburg school calendar. A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is required at the time of registration.
